Jeethu Joseph Threatens Legal Action Over Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 3

Jeetu Joseph is directing the Malayalam movie Drishyam 3, which stars Mohanlal. In an interview with Matrubhumi, the director debunked claims that the Hindi version starring Ajay Devgn would be shot before the film, even if it hasn't yet started production. He even implied that he used the threat of legal action to prevent it.

Given that the Malayalam version is the original, Jeetu disclosed in the interview that he stopped the producers of the Hindi version of Drishyam 3 with Ajay from getting a head start. "There were demands on producing Malayalam and Hindi versions together, but we haven't made any decisions on those issues," he said. At first, there were some ideas about beginning in Hindi, but they backed off after being warned that the matter would be handled legally.
Just a few weeks ago, it was revealed to those unfamiliar with Drishyam 3 that Ajay's Hindi version would begin filming shortly. The Malayalam movie won't start production until October of this year, though, as Jeetu is still writing the script. Following that, the filming of the Hindi version is anticipated to begin. Jeetu introduced the well-liked movie series Drishyam in 2013, starring Mohanlal.
