In order to film for Buchi Babu Sana's sports drama Peddi, the actor Ram Charan underwent a transformation. According to the promotional material, the movie will portray him as having a ripped body, a rugged appearance, and a lengthy beard and hair. Ram offered a preview of his transformation for the movie on Monday by sharing a photo from the gym.

"Changeover for @peddimovie begins!! Pure grit," wrote Ram. On Instagram and X (previously Twitter), share a photo from the gym with the caption "True joy". He is seen in the photo with a lengthy beard, his long hair twisted into a man bun, and wearing a sleeveless T-shirt. In the image, he flaunts the torn body he worked hard to develop for the movie.

Ram has been pushing his limits and "undergoing relentless training" for the film, according to a press release, so that he "reflects the raw energy and intensity his character demands." Tuesday marks the start of a critical shoot for him.

“Can’t wait for this changeover sir,” was the caption that Director Buchi couldn't help but add beneath the image. "Great physique now, keep going," one fan wrote. "The biceps scare me more," someone else wrote. Some people were happy to watch his transformation on the big screen, while others expressed themselves with fire emojis.

Concerning Peddi

Following the Vaisshnav Tej, Krithi Shetty, and Vijay Sethupathi-starrer Uppena in 2021, Peddi is Buchi's second film. Ram was seen in the movie's opening scene chatting with a rural accent while playing cricket on a dusty pitch. It is produced by Vriddhi Cinemas, which is owned by Venkata Satish Kilaru, and presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings.

Ram's birthday will be celebrated with the theatrical release of Peddi on March 27, 2024. The movie stars Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma, and Jagapathi Babu in major roles. The movie's soundtrack is being written by AR Rahman.
