Housefull 5: Both Cuts of Akshay Kumar’s Film Share Identical Runtime Despite CBFC Edits

One of the most anticipated films of 2025 is Housefull 5, which stars Akshay Kumar. The film's trailer has already generated a lot of attention on social media. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) had previously given Housefull 5 a UA certificate, but according to a recent report, the CBFC has now requested a few modifications.

According to Bollywood Hungama, the CBFC requested certain changes to Housefull 5, which was awarded a U/A 16+ certificate. The word "nikal dungi" was changed when discussing audio cuts. Additionally, the use of 'apne' in another dialogue was requested to be changed. Appropriate terms were used in place of the words "item" and "haram." However, the removal of a conversation lasting an hour and fifty-three minutes was requested.

In addition to these, the film received three visual cuts. The cut list indicated that a scene of "champagne comming" was cut. The 'suitably modified' pair of hand motions. Finally, there was a two-second reduction in a scene of "sensual visuals." As a result, eleven seconds of the film was censored.

The report also stated that both versions of the movie have the same duration of 165.48 minutes. Housefull 5, to put it simply, lasts two hours, forty-five minutes, and forty-eight seconds.

The ensemble cast of Housefull 5, which is directed by Tarun Mansukhani, includes Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Chunky Pandey, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, Chitrangada Singh, Fardeen Khan, Johnny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Dino Morea, Ranjeet, Soundarya Sharma, Nikitin Dheer, and Akashdeep Sabir.

In the meantime, Housefull 5, which Sajid Nadiadwala produced under his company Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, is slated to release in theaters on June 20, 2025. The film Housefull 5 is anticipated to feature memorable characters and hilarious scenarios.
