The Malayalam thriller Big Ben, which is based in the UK, was released online a year after its theatrical premiere. Now available on Sun NXT, the movie features Anu Mohan and Aditi Ravi in the main roles.

The movie, which had its theatrical premiere in June of last year, failed to attract a big audience. However, it is expected to be better received and have a larger audience due to its OTT release. On May 30, at 12 a.m., Big Ben started broadcasting on Sun NXT.

Overall, Big Ben received mixed reviews, especially considering the fact that some real events were portrayed in a fictitious light. Am..Ah, Iyer in Arabia, Kudumba Sthreeyum Kunjadum, Kattis Gang, and other titles have lately been added to the Malayalam collection of Sun NXT. Aditi Ravi gained fame with films like Kuttanadan Marpappa and Pathaam Valavu, while Anu Mohan is well-known for his roles in You Too Brutus, Ayyappanum Koshiyum, and Dhoomam.

What does Big Ben represent?

The movie is based on real occurrences in the life of a Malayali family caught in the intricacies of the British legal system, as evidenced by its trailer and posters. The teaser alludes to the gripping thriller, which is mostly filmed in various locations throughout the United Kingdom. In Big Ben, Chandhunadh and Miya George also portray police officers.

Lovely and Jean's voyage to London turns into a legal struggle as they live abroad and try to keep their family together while dealing with unfamiliar laws. The movie's core plot point is whether or not they will be able to reconcile despite their lack of knowledge of local laws. Ben Augustine wrote and directed the movie. Braintree Productions, which is headed by Prajay Kamat, Eldo Thomas, and Siby Aranjany, has funded Big Ben. The movie's supporting cast includes Vijay Babu, Jaffer Idukki, Biju Sopanam, Nisha Sarang, Shebin Benson, Baby Hannah, and Bitu Thomas. Kailas Menon wrote the music for the project.
