We had previously stated that Vignesh Raja will be helming a picture for Vels Film International. The producers had formally announced on Thursday that it would be D54, starring Dhanush. With GV Prakash writing the music, filming for the movie began on Thursday.

D54 has been formally announced! It's a movie by Vignesh Raja and Dhanush.

With the 2023 criminal thriller film Por Thozhil, starring Sarathkumar and Ashok Selvan, director Vignesh Raja had a tremendous debut. Given that the director will be working with Dhanush, the actor, his second effort will be enormous. The movie, which is presently titled D54, will be released in theaters on Thursday. Dhanush is seen in the poster standing by himself in the middle of a cotton field that is on fire.

The movie, which also stars KS Ravikumar, Mamitha Baiju, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Karunas, Jayaram, Pritivi Pandiraj, and others, is supported by Vels Film International. The soundtrack will be composed by GV Prakash, who has previously worked with Dhanush, and the release date is still unknown.

Alfred Prakash and Vignesh Raja will collaborate on the film's screenplay. Por Thozhil was another work by the pair. Sreejith Sarang will be in charge of editing, while Theni Eswar will be operating the camera. The launch date for D54 has not yet been revealed. At the same time, Dhanush's schedule includes the Hindi film Tere Ishq Mein, a biography of Abdul Kalam, a movie he is directing titled Idly Kadai, and a collaboration with Mari Selvaraj.

Where can I view Vignesh Raja's Por Thozhil online?

The well-known crime thriller Por Thozhil earned positive reviews and achieved commercial success. 

The movie, which features Ashok Selvan, Sarathkumar, Sarath Babu, Nikhila Vemal, and others, centers on a rookie policeman who teams up with an experienced, reticent cop to apprehend a serial murderer who is systematically murdering young girls in a similar manner. Alfred Prakash and Vignesh Raja are the authors of the screenplay.
