Zayed Khan Admits to Crushing on Aishwarya Rai: 'Her Photo Was in My Locker'
5 months ago | 5 Views
Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai has captivated audiences and made a lasting impression on her co-stars with her elegance and beauty. Zayed Khan, the actor who starred alongside her in the movie Shabd, reminisced about the joy of romancing her on screen during an interview with Siddharth Kannan. He also acknowledged that he had been a fan of hers ever since she won the Miss World title.
Zayed Khan claims that Shabd was ahead of its time.
Zayed Khan considered his film selections and acknowledged that, because of his wish to accept unconventional parts, many of his movies were ahead of their time. Regarding Shabd, he described it as a captivating story, a slice-of-life tale that was released at a time when viewers were not really prepared for such subjects. He further noted that people who watch the movie again now usually respond with something like, "Oh my God, that's scary."

Zayed Khan's Experience Collaborating with Aishwarya Rai
He remembered collaborating with Aishwarya on the movie and said, "Aish was such a professional and beautiful lady." When Aish became Miss World, I was one of her fans. I formerly kept a photo of her in my locker room. In the past, I would have said, "This woman is really beautiful." I had a fantastic time collaborating with her, so when I listened to the script and they mentioned Aish was in the movie, I thought, "Woah, where do I sign?" "She is such a wonderful co-star to be with because she really knows how to play with you.”
"Sometimes you just see actors take so much time and then come, and there'll be drama. While everything else is handled, the real work suffers. I expected it would be hard to get over my fan experience with Aish, but she just walked in and asked, "Hi, do you want to do rehearsals together?" I thought it was really awesome. "She was a natural filter. God bless her," he continued.
About Shabd
Shabd, which features Sanjay Dutt, Aishwarya Rai, and Zayed Khan in the main roles, was created by Pritish Nandy Communications and directed by Leena Yadav. Sanjay portrays a reclusive, accomplished author with writer's block who asks his wife (Aishwarya) to get intimate with another man (Zayed) as the subject of his upcoming book. The narrative becomes darker as fiction starts to blend with reality. Despite receiving acclaim for its original idea and performances—particularly Aishwarya's nuanced portrayal—Shabd was unsuccessful at the box office.
