6 months ago | 5 Views
As part of his Cap Mania Tour, Himesh Reshammiya just gave a high-energy performance at Mumbai's Jio World Garden on May 31, captivating the audience. The singer-songwriter captivated a large audience of admirers who joined in singing his classic songs. In front of a packed house, Himesh made a witty but sharp jab at his detractors, who have frequently made fun of his nasal vocal technique.
At a Mumbai concert, Himesh Reshammiya poses the rhetorical question, "naak se gaaun?" to the crowd.
A video from the performance has appeared online, in which the vocalist is seen singing his well-known hit, Aashiq Banaya Aapne. Halfway through the performance, he questioned the audience, "Thoda regular gaaun ya naak se gaaun? (Should I sing normally or from my nose?)" Himesh asked the audience, "Are you sure?" before breaking into two lines of the song in his signature style, much to the delight of the audience, after they responded with cheers for him to sing nasally.
Himesh told Pinkvilla in an earlier interview that he invented the trend of nasal singing in Bollywood. "We are not even talking about the nose today," he said. After me, a lot of individuals sang nasally, which made several of my songs popular.
He went on to say, "Even though I refer to it as nasal singing now, it was never nasal for me; it was high-pitched singing. It was a plea for assistance! In the Aashiq Banaya video, the guy is genuinely seen sobbing in agony, singing, and dancing...
Himesh Reshammiya offers his thanks.
The Mumbai concert was attended by a number of celebrities, including actor Veer Pahariya and filmmaker Farah Khan. Himesh thanked the audience on Instagram for the tremendous response, writing, "Jai MATADI Let's Rock❤️" We would like to express our gratitude for the historic reaction to our sold-out performance at JIO Garden BKC, as well as the amazing reaction to our most recent smash hit song, Dil Ke Taj Mahal Meinn, from Badass Ravi Kumar, in addition to all of our prior blockbuster hit songs."
In the interim, Himesh Reshammiya was last seen in Badass Ravi Kumar. The movie only made 10.98 crores rupees globally and got a mixed reaction from viewers. As part of his Cap Mania Tour, Himesh will perform in Delhi on July 19 after the triumph of his Mumbai concert.
