If the responses to the teaser for their forthcoming movie, The Raja Saab, are any indication, director Maruthi and actor Prabhas have persuaded their detractors to see things differently. Fans embracing the reappearance of 'vintage' Prabhas and overlooking any VFX they believe looks subpar are among the reactions to the sneak peek of the horror comedy film.

Fans proclaim that 'vintage' Prabhas has returned.

After appearing in serious movies like Saaho and Salaar, the teaser revealed Prabhas's silly side again, complete with humorous one-liners. "LOOKS.. SWAG.. TIMING… VINTAGE DARLING!" wrote Prasanth Varma, the director of HanuMan, on X (formerly Twitter). Similar to Prashanth, fans overwhelmed X with their responses, expressing their delight at Prabhas' 'vintage' atmosphere.

One fan on X wrote, “#Prabhas in Raja Saab is everything!!!! Loving him in the teaser. The undisputed Pan India superstar has arrived.” A Redditor thought, “This looks like if Radhe Shyam was made competent,” A fan even wrote, “Ni vintage Comedy Timing ni Humour ni chala Miss ayyamm anna #Prabhas (We missed your vintage comedy timing Prabhas).”

Surprised by Sanjay Dutt’s appearance

One Reddit user remarked, "Sanjay Dutt Hain ???," indicating that some people were shocked to see Sanjay Dutt in the picture. The film has been in the works for a long time, and it's clear from the teaser that Sanjay Dutt is also in it. "Nowadays, you should be more surprised if a movie doesn't have Sanjay Dutt," one joked. "Since when have they been making the film that we found out about in the teaser?"" One more concurred, saying, "Sanju Baba is in all the movies these days!"

The VFX receive varied opinions.

Although the VFX and CGI in the film received mixed reviews from fans on Reddit and X, the majority of people seemed unconcerned. One fan commented, "Darling issa vibe myaan, despite the tacky production values." "The vfx animals and ghosts don't look great, but the sets themselves are nice," said another. "The fire looked good."

One person remarked, "Cgi looks decent." “Vintage Darling is back,” another shared screengrabs of the actor from the teaser. @DirectorMaruthi, thank you. The VFX are quite decent. I'm not sure about the horror, but the comedy track seems good enough.

The Raja Saab will be released in theaters on December 5 in all South Indian languages and Hindi.
