An actor's talent or box office results are no longer the only indicators of their success and relevance in the modern world; public relations (PR) has become an essential tool for molding their image, impact, and longevity. Recently, Vikrant Massey told Rhea Chakraborty during a discussion on her podcast about how he attempted but failed to improve his public relations skills.

The PR strategies used by actors, according to Vikrant Massey

Vikrant stated, "There are days when I actually sit back and question my choices also," when discussing how he doesn't use a lot of PR strategies to maintain industry relevance. On occasion, I may succumb to temptation and spend two or three days contemplating whether I made the correct decision and whether I should have placed myself in a particular situation. Should I really go out there and let the paparazzi snap me? Everyone has their own opinion, which is also crucial since it has its own appeal.

Vikrant on using public relations to gain attention

He said, "I tried for 4-5 months, probably half a year," adding that he had attempted to gain publicity through PR efforts but was not at ease with it. The cost of renting clothes is so high that I began going to parties and renting them out. The cost of simply wearing clothes once is too high (50–60K per day, per event). My wife, who was my girlfriend at the time, asked, "Why?" You're wearing expensive designer clothes for four to five hours, which is our monthly expenditure. I tried but I failed, and I came to the conclusion that I was really at ease. I wasn't being me. I always had to be careful that those pricey items didn't get soiled because I had to give them back.

Frequently, Bollywood celebrities flaunt their airport outfits by posing for the paparazzi as they depart for work or vacation. It has become a trend for many celebrities to employ public relations equipment in order to maintain their ongoing relevance in the public eye.

The next movie starring Vikrant Massey

Next, the actor will star in the love drama Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, which is also the debut of Shanaya Kapoor, the daughter of Sanjay and Maheep Kapoor. The movie, which is directed by Santosh Singh, written by Mansi Bagla, and produced by Zee Studios and Mini Films, follows the romance between two blind people as they navigate the highs and lows of contemporary love. The movie will premiere in theaters on July 11.
