In the political crime thriller Sarkar, Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan appeared together. When he had to share the screen with his father on the first day of filming, Abhishek confessed to The Hollywood Reporter India that he was terrified. Amitabh later gave him a stern lecture in his automobile, which he described as being "destroyed."

Abhishek's words

"The first time we shot together was for Sarkar," Abhishek said as he remembered the incident. "Ramu [Ram Gopal Varma] said that we'll do some test shoots, and then I could go away and shoot Bunty Aur Babli. It was September of 2004. On the first day, I was dripping sweat and really anxious. I was terrified and physically trembling as he called me "Shankar" and all I had to do was turn around and say "Ji?" He has that impact."

"For this reason, I've worked so hard for so many years..."

After his father left the set, he continued, he waited in his vanity vehicle for a while before departing the shoot. However, when Amitabh knocked on his vanity van and proposed that they both go home together, it did not occur. "The whole ride back was in complete silence," Abhishek then stated, describing how the trip went. He is merely staring ahead. The personnel exited the vehicle, leaving the two of them alone, when they pulled into the driveway of their house. In the space of 48 frames, he simply sat there before turning to me and saying, "Isiliye maine itne saal mehnat karke tumhe padhaya likhaya? Dialogue bolna aata nahi hai tumhe (Is this why I worked so hard and spent so much on your education? You can't even say a line properly)." The way he looked at me made me feel like I had killed someone. He just destroyed me," he stated.

Recently, Abhishek turned 25 years old in the film industry. With JP Dutta's Refugee, he made his acting debut. His next appearance will be in Kaalidhar Laapata, which will debut on Zee5 on July 4.
