One of the most anticipated movies from the southern industry is Kannappa, starring Vishnu Manchu. Because it stars a number of well-known actors, such Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, and Mohanlal, the Telugu movie is also making news in other industries. In response to a question on how Mohanlal joined the project, Vishnu Manchu replied that he even broke down when the Malayalam legend accepted to travel to New Zealand for filming.

About Mohanlal's involvement in Kannappa, Vishu Manchu said:

Recently, the Telugu actor Vishnu Manchu, who plays the lead in Kannappa, discussed his conversation with Mohanlal about the character of Kirata when he offered it to him in an interview with The Cue Studio.

Describing his experience, Vishnu stated that he had told the Lucifer star about the role and that the whole film would be filmed in New Zealand. He went on to say that if Mohanlal couldn't make it, he was prepared to film it in the studio using the green mat.

When Vishnu said that they intended to film in December, Mohanlal questioned when the filming would happen. Mohanlal retorted, "Okay, mone, I'll come to New Zealand."

Surprised by the quick response, Vishnu Manchu inquired as to whether Mohanlal had taken the job, and Mohanlal said yes, he had only recently agreed to visit New Zealand. "I got up and went and fell at his feet," Vishnu said.

The Telugu actor also stated that Mohanlal's episode is the highlight and that he would have around 18 minutes of screen time.

Mukesh Kumar Singh directed Kannappa, which stars Visnu Manchu in the title role. In supporting roles, the movie also features y Mohan Babu, R Sarathkumar, Arpit Ranka, and Brahmanandam.

Thudarum, Mohanlal's most recent film, on the other hand, was a huge hit in theaters. In addition to Shobana, Farhaan Faasil, Binu Pappu, and Thomas Mathew in other important roles, Prakash Varma played the villain in Tharun Moorthy's direction.
