Tanuj Virwani, an actor, claims to have caught his spot boy stealing his personal items from his home in Mumbai. The actor was accompanied by the spot boy for over ten years. Tanuj has revealed that several things disappeared from his home, sparking doubts, according to a Bollywood Bubble article. He was then made aware that the culprit was the spot boy.

What Tanuj Virwani Stated

Regarding this occurrence, Tanuj stated, "Of late, we had been noticing that a lot of items in our home, starting from currency of other countries where we travelled or other expensive items like watches and stuff have just been going missing. Honestly, we aren't the type of family that likes to install CCTV cameras in their homes. We believe that our employees should be trusted. However, we were informed that it was my spotboy. He has been a spotboy for over ten years and even shares my home with me.

"We notified the Mumbai Police as soon as possible."

The Mumbai Police have been notified, and an inquiry is currently underway, the actor added. “Naturally, he has a lot of access to things. We treat our employees like family and trust them. We make no distinctions. Therefore, we rummaged through his luggage and were able to find some things when we learned. However, many things, such as watches and other items, are still missing. We therefore notified the Mumbai Police as soon as possible. They were quick to step in and act, and I really think it's the finest police in the world. He stated, "They are going to be interrogating him right now."

Tanuj also remembered the recent stabbing of actor Saif Ali Khan at his Mumbai home and how it had sparked worries about safety and security. He stated that he would guarantee greater safety since he is staying with his infant daughter.

In 2023, Tanya Jacob and Tanuj Virwani were wed. In September of last year, they gave birth to a daughter.
