Aamir Khan Admits to Complete Blackout After Getting Drunk at His 60th Birthday Bash

Aamir Khan, the actor, marked his 60th birthday on March 14. The actor has now discussed that day in an interview for the most recent episode of The Bombay Journey, which was conducted for Mashable India. He admits that he doesn't recall anything from the party because he was too intoxicated.

What Aamir Stated

Aamir stated in Hindi during the conversation, "My family organised a party for me on my 60th birthday." It was one of those moments when you spend a memorable day with your loved ones. But what happened was that I hardly ever drink now; it's practically nothing. However, I relented since it was a special event and everyone insisted that I have a drink with them that day. The issue with me is that I'm an extreme person who doesn't set limits for myself. My body wasn't accustomed to it since I hadn't been drinking much. I realized I was buzzing by 9 p.m. after we had started at 7 p.m.

"I couldn't remember anything from the night before."

He continued, "I've experienced this a couple of times." I remembered nothing of the night before when I got up the next morning. I didn't recall anything even though there were videos and images, and they told me that everyone had said pleasant things about me. There was a blackout. I treated everyone normally at the party, but when I woke up the next day, I had no recollection of my 60th birthday celebration. Although there are photos and videos from the day, I have no recollection of how I responded to the speakers. It was a thorough blackout.

Aamir is getting ready for the premiere of his forthcoming movie, Sitaare Zameen Par. The movie, which is a remake of the Spanish film Campeones, was helmed by R.S. Prasanna. It is scheduled to hit theaters on June 20.
