Suchitra Krishnamoorthi, an actress, sparked controversy by calling Vishwas Kumar Ramesh, the only survivor of the terrible Ahmedabad plane tragedy, a liar when she questioned his survival tale. But she apologized after receiving a backlash.
Suchitra Krishnamoorthi expresses regret
When Suchitra questioned Vishwas's account of his survival, which mirrored a social media rumor alleging that he had fabricated his tale, the commotion started. She called him a liar in a tweet on X, which was formerly known as Twitter. She did, however, apologize and remove the post after being called out for spreading false information.
"So this #vishwaskumarramesh lied about being a passenger on the plane & the only survivor?" Suchitra wrote in the post that has since been removed. This is really strange. Did his family in the UK back up his narrative? If it's true that he was seen giving kandha at his brother's funeral, then he deserves not just some severe punishment but also some time in a mental hospital.

The Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa actor faced backlash for spreading unsubstantiated claims, as social media users highlighted that Vishwas' survival account had been verified by the hospital in Ahmedabad.
Within hours, Suchitra deleted the tweet and issued a public apology. In her new tweet, she wrote, “Took out my last tweet on the air india crash survivor. Seems to be false news circulated for God knows what reason. My apologies”.
What do we know about lone survivor of Air India plane crash
The only survivor of the tragic Air India aircraft crash in Ahmedabad on June 12, which claimed the lives of at least 260 people, is Vishwash Kumar Ramesh. The man is a British citizen at the age of forty.
The Boeing 787 Dreamliner's '11A' seat was close to an emergency exit, where Vishwash was able to jump out of the aircraft and, by some miracle, live through the tragic incident that claimed the lives of all the other passengers and crew. He was treated for his injuries at Ahmedabad Civil Hospital.
Vishwas was released from Ahmedabad's Civil Hospital a week after the Air India aircraft tragedy that claimed 260 lives in Gujarat. Not long after his release, his brother Ajay's body, who had accompanied him to London, was turned over to the family for his final rites, which took place earlier this week.
Both Vishwas and his brother were from Diu and had traveled to India by plane in order to be with their family in the union territory. Following the news of the plane disaster, Vishwas's family flew in from the United Kingdom.
