Ram Kapoor, an actor who has been making news with his dramatic weight reduction, just revealed a scary health scare. Doctors had warned him that he would be in danger of dying if he didn't give his health priority, and they even warned him that he may have a diabetic stroke, he said.

Ram on the health scare

When Ram joined Bharti Singh and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa on their podcast two years ago, he discussed his health issues, including how he used to eat an entire KFC bucket alone.

“My worst moments were when I was filming Neeyat in Scotland,” Ram said. Prior to each meal, I used to give myself three insulin injections every day. My sugar was at absurd levels, and I weighed 140 kg. I could have a diabetic stroke, according to my doctor, because I'm so unhealthy and work so hard. I was in such bad health. I would not have had much time to live if I hadn't changed.

He told me during our conversation that he made his kid the promise that he would begin taking better care of himself when he turned 50. He stressed that he is still a work in progress.

Given that viewers had become used to his appearance over the previous 25 years, the performer admitted that making significant adjustments to his appearance was a big gamble.

"Because of the bad shape I was in, a doctor told me that I would have to start Ozempic or Monjaro," Ram said. If not, I might have experienced a diabetic stroke. Because I have faith in my doctor, I would have undoubtedly taken it if I hadn't gotten in shape. He is a friend and cares for my whole family. "You have two choices, you either alter yourself, or tu mar jayega (you will die)," he stated.

The program, which is produced by Rishab Seth and written by Ritviq Joshi and Aarsh Vora, also features Shikha Talsania, Kshitish Date, Namantar Rajendra, and others in significant roles.
