The actor posted on his Instagram Stories on Tuesday that he is improving and wrote a poignant message about not taking life for granted.

Life is short, don't take one day for granted," Aashif wrote in the caption of a photo that appeared to be from the hospital room, which he shared on his Instagram Stories. In an instant, anything might change. Be thankful for everything you own and everything you are. Never forget who is most important to you, and always cherish them. Life is a blessing, and we are fortunate.

"I've been dealing with some health problems"

In another message posted on his Instagram Stories, he thanked everyone for their kind worries and provided an update on his well-being. "I've been coping with some health problems that needed me to be hospitalized over the last few hours," the message said. I'm happy to report that I'm now on the mend and feeling a lot better. I'm really grateful for all the love, care, and good wishes. To me, your backing is invaluable. I'll be back in no time at all. Thank you for thinking about me (red heart and folded hands emoticons) until then.

The series is set in the made-up Uttar Pradesh town of Phulera, and it follows Abhishek Tripathi (played by Jitendra Kumar), an engineering graduate who is forced to work as a village secretary because there are few employment options. The show is now accessible for streaming on Prime Video and has four seasons.
