Ted Sarandos, the CEO of Netflix, recently spoke with Shah Rukh Khan about his fond memories of their encounter and shared some details about Aryan Khan's future directorial debut, The B**ds of Bollywood. Sarandos talked about his early days in India and the influence the celebrity had on him during an interview with businessman Nikhil Kamath.

When asked if he had a favorite Indian creator, Sarandos didn't hesitate to dismiss the issue. He claimed that picking a favorite kid from one's own children is like selecting one loved child from one's own progeny; he had too many to choose just one.

Meeting Shah Rukh Khan was one of his earliest and most memorable experiences in India. "Early in coming to India, I met Shah Rukh Khan right away. We hit it off immediately, and he threw me a wonderful small supper," Sarandos said.

Over the years, the Bollywood celebrity and the head of content at Netflix have grown to be great pals. We went to see one another in Los Angeles while his son was in class, Sarandos added. Sarandos said that he has seen the first two episodes of the upcoming series and thought it was hilarious so far. He said, "I think people in India and people outside of India know nothing about the inner workings of Bollywood. It's a really fun world, then. He's a really great director (Aryan).

In this high-stakes thriller, the ambitious outsider and his pals make their way through the tumultuous, opulent, and unpredictable realm of Bollywood, according to the Netflix series description. The show was produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, Shah Rukh Khan's company. Despite the fact that the actors are still unknown, the public is becoming increasingly enthusiastic about the initiative.

Prior to this, Red Chillies Entertainment collaborated with Netflix India on two projects: the zombie horror series Betaal (2020) and the espionage thriller Bard of Blood (2019), which starred Emraan Hashmi. The B**ds of Bollywood is the third partnership between Aryan Khan and them, and it is also their first film as a narrative.
