Television’s most exciting dating show has returned with great enthusiasm. While the new season of Love Island promises even more excitement and romance, the lingering question is what has become of the couples from the previous season. Are they still together, or have the challenges of life outside the villa proven too difficult to overcome?

Serena and Kordell

As the champions of last year’s season, it would be an understatement to say that the hopes for the long-term prospects of this couple were elevated. Serena Page and Kordell Beckham did not have the most ideal beginning. Although Page was open to dating someone who was relatively shorter, she did not initially pair with Beckham. It required several rounds of dating and significant issue resolution for the couple to finally establish common ground, including their shared background and matching outfits. Throughout the season's ups and downs, the pair ultimately forged a connection and secured the top spot.

A year later, the couple is joyfully cohabiting in Los Angeles and rarely posts about each other on social media to showcase their affection.

“We’ve been doing well,” Kordell told E! News. “There’s nothing major happening that’s causing any issues—just smooth sailing. I’m happy. We’re happy. It’s been nothing but enjoyable times thus far.” Their time away from the public eye allows the couple to enjoy their private life and care for Page’s cat, Milo, together. The couple appears to be thriving and has successfully maintained a healthy balance outside the Love Island villa as well.

Leah and Miguel

Miguel Harichi was not the most apparent choice for Leah Kateb when her journey on Love Island began. Due to a tumultuous relationship with fellow islander Rob Rausch, Kateb struggled to clarify her needs and expectations from a partner. However, things took a turn for the better when the Britain-born Harichi captivated her attention.
