The reality program The Traitors will be presented by filmmaker Karan Johar. The twenty participants who will compete in a game of deceit and betrayal in order to win the grand prize were just revealed in the trailer. The contestants, who range from content makers like Sufi Motiwala and Apoorva Mukhija to performers like Karan Kundrra and Jannat Zubair, are housed in a luxurious palace where they will compete to find the traitors among them.

A digital content producer, Apoorva Mukhija—also known as the rebel child—became well-known for her honest short videos, sketches, and rants. In addition to her role as Khushi Kapoor's best friend in the Karan Johar-produced movie Nadaaniyan, she has also appeared in the online series Who's Your Gynac? With her words on India's Got Talent causing a stir lately, she is now getting ready to make her reality television debut on The Traitors. To commemorate the occasion, she penned, "Rise and shine baby. It's time to make a reality TV debut."

Purav Jha- A digital content developer and actor from India, Purav started his career in 2018 by posting humorous videos to TikTok and Instagram. His collaborations with YouTuber Harsh Beniwal, particularly in the popular video "PUBG With Pariwar," where he played the role of Kundan, brought him widespread notoriety.

Karan Kundrra - Karan is a well-known television actor best known for his roles in programs like Dil Hi Toh Hai, Kitani Mohabbat Hai 2, Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum, and others. This is not the first reality program he has ever appeared in. Prior to this, he competed in Roadies as a Gang leader and in Salman Khan's program Bigg Boss.

Harsh Gujral is an Indian YouTuber and stand-up comedian who is well-known for his observational humor and audience participation. In the film Mere Husband Ki Biwi, which also stars Bhumi Pednekar, Rakul Preet Singh, and Arjun Kapoor in the lead roles, he recently made his acting debut.

Ashish G. Vidyarthi: Ashish has established himself in the entertainment business with his wicked parts in movies such as Kill, R...Rajkumar, Kick 2, Vaastav, and others. The performer is currently prepared to play The Traitors.

Uorfi Javed is an Indian television performer and online celebrity who is well-known for her daring sense of style and direct demeanor. Her career began with roles in television series such as Bade Bhaiyya Ki Dulhania, Meri Durga, and Bepannaah, but she became well-known after appearing on Bigg Boss OTT in 2021. The daughter of seasoned actor Mohan Babu, Lakshmi Manchu is an Indian actress, producer, and TV personality best known for her roles in Telugu film and American television. She started out in the American television series Las Vegas before making appearances in shows such as Desperate Housewives. She has performed in more than 20 films in a variety of languages.

Raftaar, the well-known Indian singer, rapper, and songwriter, is renowned for his upbeat live performances and hit songs. He began his career with urban music ensembles like Mafia Mundeer before becoming well-known as a solo artist. In addition to being a gang leader on MTV Roadies, Raftaar has also served as a judge for reality television shows like MTV Hustle and Dance India Dance.

Elnaaz Norouzi- Elnaaz Norouzi is an Iranian-German actress and model who rose to prominence in India with web series like Sacred Games and movies like Jug Jugg Jeeyo. She has steadily increased her presence in Indian cinema and OTT platforms thanks to her dazzling screen presence.

Nikita Luther - The first Indian woman to win a gold bracelet at the World Series of Poker, Nikita Luther is a skilled poker player.

Aside from being known as the daughter of Boney Kapoor and the sister of Arjun Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor is also an entrepreneur and the creator of the online fundraising platform Fankind. She is well-known for her activism on social media and charitable endeavors.

Raj Kundra, the husband of actress and businesswoman Shilpa Shetty, attracted attention when he began wearing a mask in public. He made his acting debut with UT69 ,in which he chronicled his hard days in jail. Kundra has maintained his public profile through both his contentious activities and business endeavors.

Janvi Gaur - Janvi Gaur is a well-known YouTuber and digital content producer known for her viral films and relatable comedic skits. She has established a market for her observational humor by maintaining a strong presence across all platforms.

Maheep Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor's wife and a jewelry designer, gained notoriety through the Netflix reality show The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives. The show is supported by Karan Johar and features other Bollywood actor wives such as Seema Sajdeh, Neelam Kothari, and Bhavana Pandey.

Jannat Zubair: Jannat began her career as a young performer and is now a well-known actor and social media personality. She has starred in television programs like Phulwa and Tu Aashiqui and become extremely well-liked on Instagram, where she has over 49.8 million followers—more than Shah Rukh Khan's.

Mukesh Chhabra - In Bollywood, Mukesh is a well-known casting director and filmmaker. He has been crucial to introducing and casting talent in movies like Kai Po Che!, Dangal, and Chhichhore. Dil Bechara, starring Sushant Singh Rajput, was also Chhabra's directorial debut.

Sahil Salathia - Sahil is a model and actor who competed in Hong Kong's Mr. Asia 2012, where he represented India and made it to the finals. Additionally, he has appeared in movies like Panipat as well as television shows like Adhura and Everest.

Sufi Motiwala- Sufi is a web star who is most famous for his reels, which are seen as being in the vein of fashion journalism. On Instagram, he can frequently be seen commenting on the designer attire and styling of celebrities.

Regarding The Traitors

Karan Johar revealed in the trailer that at the start of the program, three candidates from the "20 cunning players" will be selected as the traitors who will be "murdering" each individual every day in order to win the grand prize. In the meanwhile, the innocent competitors will have the opportunity to reveal the traitor and complete their game. Although some viewers were thrilled about the show, others thought it was a 'cheap version of Bigg Boss.' Starting on June 12, the new episodes will be broadcast every Thursday at 8 p.m. on Prime Video.
