He titled the image, "He made films with soul & for the soul...and he lived life with even more," when he shared it.
Karan writes heartfelt message
"He taught me that good storytelling begins with you...and your good heart." I appreciate you giving me the strength to feel things deeply. I appreciate you giving me the confidence to express these emotions on the largest screens feasible. "Happy Father's Day, Papa! Thank you...for you (sparkles emoji)," he included. Farah Khan commented on the picture, saying, "Love him," while others, like Maheep Kapoor, Sonali Bendre, and Bhavana Pandey, added red heart emojis.
Regarding Yash Johar
In June 2004, Yash Johar, the creator of Dharma Productions, passed away. Throughout his career, he directed a number of movies, including Dostana (1980), Duniya (1984), Agneepath (1990), Gumrah (1993), Duplicate and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001), and Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003), to name a few.
On Father's Day, Karan discusses his parenting
Karan also gave himself a shoutout in a post on Sunday since he is the father of twins, Yash and Roohi. He posted a photo collage with his kids and captioned it, "Some choices are made on the spur of the moment, some are planned, and others are merely fortunate.... Choosing to be a single parent has been the most emotionally fulfilling choice I've ever made—it's the answer to all my prayers to the cosmos.
Karan discussed the parenting advice he received. “I was told to read books, listen to podcasts, and speak to other parents for help and guidance,” he remarked. “And while I truly appreciate all the good intentions of generous advice, I feel each journey of a parent (more so a single parent) is truly unique and needs to be dealt with on your personal instinct. There are no rules for parenting; there are just instincts that guide me every day,” he continued.
"I know I will falter, fumble and fall…. But the abundant love always makes me eventually rise…. Today I celebrate myself … for completing my own half existence with the presence of my blessings Roohi and Yash… they filled a deep void and created some more space for love in my aura and heart… #happyfathersday," he said in conclusion.
