Although many actresses choose to take a break from the spotlight to raise their children, it can be frightening to return, even for someone as experienced as Kajol. The actress discussed her comeback to movies following the birth of her daughter Nysa in a recent interview, remembering the combination of feelings she had before appearing in front of the camera again for Fanaa.

After becoming a mother, Kajol discusses her worries

The actress confessed in a recent interview with Zoom that she had a hard time the first time she made the decision to confront the camera after giving birth to Nysa.

Kajol opened up, saying, "I remember when I came back, I did Fanaa, after Nysa was born." "It had been three and a half years since I had stood in front of the camera. I couldn't help but wonder, "Do I still have it?" Will I be alright in front of the camera? Will I be different?"

Fortunately, the anxiety didn't last long. Kajol understood after the first day of filming that acting would always be stored in her mind as muscle memory.

"'No, it's fine,' I thought as the day came to a close. I've been doing this every day with my kids and with everyone else. And it's all right. Reflecting on how deeply rooted acting is in her, she stated that it is a component of yourself that you will never grow weary of or feel like you are just starting out.

Kajol's comeback with Fanaa, in which Aamir Khan also starred, was well received by critics and audiences, further solidifying her position in their hearts. Fanaa was made for about 30 crore rupees, and it went on to generate over 102.8 crore rupees in revenue worldwide. Kajol also took home the Filmfare Award for Best Actress in 2006 as a result of the movie's success.
