‘It is completely false that I engaged in any illegal activity’

"On the wee hours of the morning of May 30, 2025, I did attend a private party with alcohol together with an acquaintance, and while it is true that I was at that gathering, it is totally untrue that I engaged in any illegal activity, such as the sex work that is being mentioned in news reports and rumors. I am giving my actions a lot of thought, and I want to express my heartfelt apologies to anyone who may have been offended or let down.

According to Koreaboo, the entire incident began on May 29, when the Korean media organization News1 reported that Ju Haknyeon had met former Japanese adult movie star Kirara Asuka in a Roppongi, Tokyo, bar.

A day ago, an official statement organization verified that Ju Haknyeon will be leaving both THE BOYZ and the agency. "Hello, this is One Hundred," the message stated. In order to allow time for a comprehensive investigation and verification of the facts, we recently took action to halt Ju Haknyeon's operations as soon as we learned that he was engaged in a contentious incident.

Now including Sangyeon (the leader), Jacob, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Kevin, New, Q, Sunwoo, and Eric, The Boyz will be a ten-member group.
