Hrithik Roshan has finished shooting for the highly awaited War 2, and his heartfelt Instagram post has touched fans everywhere. Sharing a behind-the-scenes shot, Hrithik said, “Feeling a mix of emotions as we wrapped #War2. 149 days of nonstop action, dance, blood, sweat, injuries… and every moment was worth it.” The shoot wrapped up after nearly five months of intense work on this high-energy sequel, which also features Telugu star Jr. NTR and Bollywood’s Kiara Advani. With daring stunts, grand scale, and fresh storytelling, War 2 shows how Indian cinema is growing bolder. It’s now aiming to match Hollywood’s big-budget style more than ever. Directed by Ayan Mukerji and part of Aditya Chopra’s YRF Spy Universe, the movie is set to release on August 14, 2025, just before India’s Independence Day holiday.

In his message, Hrithik also praised his co-stars. He called working with Jr. NTR “an honor” and said Kiara Advani’s acting was “lethal” and “spectacular.” But what stood out most was his farewell to his iconic role as Kabir. Hrithik wrote, “Ending Kabir’s journey is always bitter-sweet. It may take a few days to feel normal again.” His words show how much he connected with the character—something a 2021 study pointed out can make a performance feel more real and draw viewers in.
