Ganesh, a Kannada actor who had a huge success last year with the family comedy Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi, was contemplating changing things up in his film career by taking on projects like Yours Sincerely, Ram and Pinaka. The fact that these two movies were reportedly distinct from the established formula used in Ganesh movies was a welcome notion, according to fans. But then came word of yet another partnership, and this time they are not happy.

People online want Ganesh to make films in the style of Aavesham and Padakkalam

According to the latest rumors, Ganesh is going to collaborate with lyricist and director Chethan Kumar, who directed James, the last movie of the late Puneeth Rajkumar. Since then, James has entered the Rs 100 crore club, and Chethan has not produced any more movies. Given the intense feelings that prevailed at the time, rumors that James wasn't a fitting farewell film for Puneeth were silenced.

However, netizens are now starting to speak out and openly claim that James was one of the worst movies of Puneeth's career. Before working with James, Chethan had worked with Roaring Star Sriimurali on Bharjari, which had not performed well at the box office. Fans have advised Ganesh to reconsider his choice, if he has really thought about collaborating with Chethan, given the filmmaker's track record.

A report on this partnership received responses like "Ganesh is a hero who can make audiences laugh and cry and yet, he always chooses the worst scripts," "Aavesham, Padakalam, Love Today, Dragon type movie madi... hit confirm," "James was dabba movie. Bharjari was jaatre," "And then they blame audiences for not coming to theaters," and "Disaster loading," Jagath Jaatre."

However, some online users viewed this relationship favorably, claiming that Chethan's kind of movie may actually be a good fit for Ganesh. It is said that the film's formal announcement will be made soon. In the interim, Ganesh is also helping lyricist and filmmaker Arasu Anthare, who directed Love in Mandya many years ago, make a comeback to the industry.
