Concerning the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Deepika was chosen as one of the recipients of the Hollywood Walk of Fame Class of 2026 in the Motion Pictures sector. The list was announced live by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, putting Deepika alongside celebrities like Demi Moore, Rachel McAdams, Emily Blunt, Timothée Chalamet, Rami Malek, and Stanley Tucci.

In response to the accomplishment, Deepika posted to Instagram Stories on Thursday. In a single word, she conveyed her feelings of "Gratitude..."

Deepika is the first Indian actress to receive the honor. Prior to this, in 1960, an Indian name was added to the Hollywood Walk of Fame class for the first time prior to 2025. Based on a book by Rudyard Kipling, American filmmaker Robert Flaherty chose Sabu Dastagir, the son of an elephant mahout, for his 1937 film, Elephant Boy. Mindy Kaling was the first South Asian woman to ever get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Kalki 2898 AD was the last place where Deepika was seen. She will next be seen in Atlee's movie with Allu Arjun.
