As part of the Gaddar Film Awards, the esteemed B.N. Reddy Film Award has been presented to Sukumar, the renowned filmmaker who demonstrated his genius from the start of his career with his debut film Arya. Sukumar, who is well-known for his distinctive storytelling and creative plots, achieved widespread recognition with movies such as Jagadam, Arya 2, 100% Love, 1: Nenokkadine, and Nannaku Prematho.

With the rural political drama Rangasthalam, which became a commercial cult hit, he surprised viewers, and he had nationwide success with Pushpa: The Rise. Pushpa: The Rule, the sequel, has already received international acclaim and recognition. In addition to being one of the highest-grossing Indian movies, it has also made history.

Since his debut, Sukumar has worked tirelessly to establish a distinctive brand and identity for himself by always trying to bring something fresh to the audience. Notably, some of the biggest celebrities in Bollywood have expressed a strong interest in collaborating with him. The B.N. Reddy Film Award, which recognizes such an inventive filmmaker, has received widespread praise in Tollywood.

Sukumar reacted to the accolade by saying:

I feel privileged to have won the B.N. Reddy Film Award at the esteemed Gaddar Film Awards. I'm really glad and appreciative that I was chosen for such a prestigious distinction. The Telangana State Government and the Gaddar Film Awards committee have my sincere appreciation. It means a lot to me to get an honor in the name of a legend like B.N. Reddy, who is a giant in Telugu film. I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to all the actors, producers, technicians, and—most importantly—the audience members who have been behind me throughout my career.

Acknowledging Sukumar's talent, commitment, and contribution to the industry, his recognition is a proud moment for Telugu cinema.
