On Instagram, actor Shoaib Ibrahim wrote a touching message in which he revealed that Dipika Kakar, his wife, will have a lengthy operation on June 3 and asked all of his followers to pray for her. Dipika has stage two liver cancer.

To provide an update on Dipika's procedure, Shoaib used Instagram Stories to share a note. Due to a viral illness and flu-like symptoms, her operation had been postponed earlier.

With Dipika having surgery on June 3, the actor stated that it would be a significant day in their life.

Tomorrow morning, Dippi will undergo surgery. The procedure will be lengthy... she requires all of your prayers and fortitude at this moment... please remember her in your prayers," the note stated. Additionally, the performer included a number of folded hand emojis in the letter.

In a video posted last week on his YouTube channel, Shoaib and Dipika discussed her health in depth. Dipika hasn't yet recovered from the flu, therefore the surgery that was planned for that week has been postponed, they added.

Dipika also disclosed that, following the tumor's surgical excision, physicians assured them that she would be cured. He added that a stone in Dipika's gallbladder was causing her pain.

Dipika announced her stage 2 liver cancer diagnosis on Instagram last month. After being in the hospital for a few days, Dipika provided an update on her health. The past few weeks have been among the "most difficult times" they have had, according to Dipika. The actor shared the timeline of events by saying, "As you all are aware last few weeks have been quite difficult for us... walking into the hospital for a pain in the upper area of my stomach... and then finding out its a tennis ball size tumor in the liver and then Finding out that the tumor is Second stage Malignant (Cancerous) ... it has been one of the most difficult time we have seen, experienced."

"With my entire family by my side and All the LOVE and PRAYERS pouring in from all of you I will sail through this too! IshaAllah.," she emphasized, adding that she is making an effort to maintain a positive attitude and is committed to overcoming the challenge. Please remember me in your prayers! With lots of love. She continued, "Dipika." Dipika and her spouse, the actor Shoaib, have a son named Ruhaan together.
