Since the release of Kerala Crime Files Season 2 on JioHotstar, actor Arjun Radhakrishnan has been lauded for his depiction of SI Noble, one of the main investigators. Given that the actor is better known for his roles in movies like Identity, Kannur Squad, and Ullozhukku, the part was his first favorable lead role in Malayalam. "After playing two consecutive bad or gray-shaded roles, it was really a relief to portray a good play role." Arjun said to Club FM in a recent interview that he was "very happy."

Arjun Radhakrishnan: I don't have anything against characters with bad qualities

However, the actor immediately clarifies that he is not opposed to characters with unfavorable aspects. "Following Identity and Kannur Squad, I received numerous requests for similar roles, but after playing a certain role a few times, you always feel that the next time it comes to you, it should have something new to it, if not in the character, at least in the plot. As long as it's acceptable to bring it up, Arjun says.

Just after the publication of Kannur Squad, when director Ahammed Khabeer first phoned to congratulate him and then promoted the show, Arjun was invited to join the second season of the hit Malayalam online series.

“I had to inform Ahammed that I hadn't seen the first season when he told me he was working on the second season of Kerala Crime Files. Even though I hadn't seen the program, I knew it was a hit, and being a part of it would be beneficial. The actor continues, saying that reading the screenplay was thrilling since the material was excellent. The production of Kerala Crime Files Season 2 was conducted like a movie, with a start-to-finish schedule of around 55 days. "It didn't really feel like a series shoot," he continues.

Despite the fact that season 2 features seasoned actors like Indrans, Harishree Ashokan, and Lal, Arjun only appears with the director-actor. "The average age on Ahammed's team is 25-30 years, and Lal sir was the oldest on set. However, he got along with everyone, probably because he had previously appeared in the inaugural season. At first, I was intimidated by his legendary reputation, body of work, size, and so forth, but as soon as I met him, I understood that he is the most soft-spoken and kind person," Arjun continues.
