Fatima Sana Shaikh, an actor, is getting ready for the publication of her movie Metro... In Dino. The actress revealed about her life with epilepsy and spoke about a terrifying experience in which she experienced several seizures.

What Fatima said

"I had a major episode when I had multiple seizures," Fatima told Humans of Bombay in an interview. My trip to the United States was by way of Dubai. I had a seizure during the trip. I was then transported to the airport hospitals, where I received the medication, but my seizures persisted, so they gave me a very large dose. I was already on a separate chemical when I started using other chemicals. I had to call off shoots because I was working on two other movies at the time. I wept when someone called for a shoot, and I was unable to get out of bed. I was in a state of mental disarray. I thought to myself, this is my reality now. I came to terms with the fact that this is my condition and that others should be aware of it because it will benefit them.

"It breaks my heart"

She continued, "Some children experience numerous seizures every day. Their lives are restricted and miserable. In education, they are not eligible for benefits that fall under the category of special needs. Additionally, I didn't realize this until much later—consider the disadvantaged. They are denied access to education and even medication. It carries a significant stigma. Because I have a following, I can state that it's fine if I can find a way to utilize it.

The film Metro... In Dino is helmed by Anurag Basu. Additionally, the picture features Neena Gupta, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Ali Fazal, Anupam Kher, Pankaj Tripathi, and Konkona Sen Sharma. Pritam wrote the song. On July 4, the movie is scheduled to be released in theaters.

In addition to R Madhavan, Fatima will also appear in Aap Jaisa Koi. On July 11, Netflix will debut the romantic comedy.
