The recent gunfire incident outside Salman Khan’s Bandra residence has sent shockwaves across the country. Now, the actor’s brother, Arbaaz Khan, has responded to the incident, stating that the Khan family was taken aback by the unfortunate incident. Adding to his response, the actor stated that people claiming to be close to the family are giving false statements to the media, and there are no official statements given by the Khan family, yet.

Arbaaz Khan’s reacts to the gunfire incident

Taking to Instagram, Arbaaz Khan penned his response to the gunshot incident outside the Galaxy apartments in Mumbai on April 14. In his statement, the actor stated that the incident was very disturbing and unnerving.

He further said that the incident has shocked the Khan family. Arbaaz wrote, “The recent incident of firing by two unidentified persons on a motorcycle at Galaxy apartment the residence of the Salim Khan family is very disturbing and unnerving. Our family has been taken aback by this shocking incident that took place”

Shedding more light on the rumours, Arbaaz said that the people claiming to be spokespersons of the family have been making loose statements and claiming that the incident was a publicity statement, which is not true. Further speaking about the issue, Arbaaz added that such false claims should not be taken seriously and no official statement from the Khan family has been given to the media yet.

“No member of the Salim Khan family has made any statement regarding this incident to the media,” he wrote.

Talking about the ongoing investigation into the incident, Arbaaz wrote that the family is cooperating with the police in the investigation. Expressing faith in the Mumbai Police, Arbaaz wrote, “We have faith in the Mumbai police and we have been assured they will do everything in their capacity to protect and secure our family.”

Gunshots fired outside Salman Khan’s residence

Two unidentified men fired gunshots outside actor Salman Khan’s Bandra residence on April 14, 2024. Taking responsibility for this incident, Anmol Bishnoi, Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother, in a social media post said, “Salman Khan, do not take us lightly. This firing incident was just a trailer so that you understand our strength. This is the first and last warning. After this, the firing will happen at your home.”
