Speculations over the upcoming marriage of Adrit Roy and Kaushambi Chakraborty are the big news in the Bengali film industry now. They came close to each other while working in Mithai. They never tried to hide their relationship from the public nor did they publicly talk about each other. Kaushambi sometimes hinted at it but Adrit kept completely silent over their relationship. 

Kaushambi, who plays Paromita in Phulki, told the media that they would tie the knot on May 9. Ucchebabu posted a photo on Thursday that showed him wearing a black tee shirt and jeans. He looks out the window of a skyscraper, wearing a pair of sunglasses. He had a full beard a few days back but now dons a French cut. He wrote, “No need to give a caption. I tried to be a bit cool.” 

Adrit posts rarely on social media and keeps away from them. Hence his new photo made his fans elated. One person wrote, “You are always cool, and no need to try it again.” Another one wrote, “Dada is it true that you are marrying?” A third person wrote, “Please give a photo with Kaushambidi.” A fourth one wrote Heard about your marriage. My love. I will miss it a lot.” 

During Mithai, Adrit was supposed to tie the knot with his longtime girlfriend Supriya. But they broke up and Adrit started dating Kaushambi, who played his Didia in Mithai. Along with Mithai, Phulki streams on Zee5.  

At that time, their relationship was the centre of speculation. Many fans expected that the on-screen chemistry between Adrit and Soumitrisha would translate offline also. Instead, the relationship between Adrit and Kaushambi irked many fans and Kaushambi faced ugly attacks from Soumitrisha's fans. It continued even after Mithai ended. 

Kaushambi came to Didi Number 1 a few days back. While answering Rachana, she, without naming Adrit, shyly smiled and said, “My man stays in my heart.” She also said that her family knows about her relationship and accepted it. Now is the time to make it official!
