We had earlier reported that actor-politician will be headlining the film Hari Hara Veera Mallu. While the makers had remained silent about the film for sometime now, on Thursday, the team released a teaser of the film, much to the fans’ expectations.

Titled Hari Hara Veera Mallu Part 1: Sword vs Spirit, the makers also confirmed that the film will come in parts, with the first instalment scheduled to release in 2024.

The teaser shows how the lives of villagers are being tormented by the ruling Nawabs, who are in turn under the authority of Mughals. We are introduced to Bobby Deol as the Mughal emperor. The teaser then reveals the man of the hour, Pawan Kalyan, whose heroic actions are hailed by people. He is shown to the saviour and skilled fighter. The teaser amply shows stunt sequences before showing the end with him walking with the villagers.

Hari Hara Veera Mallu will feature actors Pawan Kalyan, Nidhhi Agerwal, Bobby Deol, M. Nassar, Sunil, Raghubabu, Subbaraju and Nora Fatehi among others. The film is directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and Jyothi Krisna who earlier directed films like Enakku 20 Unakku 18, Nee Manasu Naaku Telusu. He is going to finish the remaining shooting and post production work of the film under the supervision of Krish Jagarlamudi. The film is produced by A Dayakar Rao under Mega Surya Production and presented by AM Rathnam.

The first part of Hari Hara Veera Mallu will hit theatres in 2024, although a release date is yet to be mentioned. Touted to be a period action film, the film is set during the Mughal era. The film is shot by cinematographers Gnanashekar, and Manoj Paramahamsa, with celebrated composer MM Keeravaani scoring the music. Praveen KL will handle the edits, with Thota Tharani overseeing the production design. Hari Hara Veera Mallu will be a duology. Amazon Prime Video has bagged the post-theatrical streaming rights for Hari Hara Veera Mallu.

Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan was last seen in the fantasy comedy film Bro (2023). The actor has They Call Him OG and Ustaad Bhagat Singh movies in the making.
