Aamir Khan, the actor, has discussed how his former wife Reena Dutta urged him to end his seven-year feud with Juhi Chawla. Aamir discussed what he considers to be his red flags in a chat with Raj Shamani on his podcast. He stated that he would isolate himself entirely after a fight if someone injured him. After a dispute with Kiran Rao, the filmmaker and his former spouse, the actor remembered how he once broke contact with her for four days, which caused her to weep. "This was one of my biggest red flags and flaws," Aamir said, adding that his relationship with Juhi was comparable. I used to be so wounded that I would pardon the individual with whom I had a conflict. I had a seven-year argument with Juhi (Juhi and I had a fight, it lasted seven years).

Reena Dutta, Aamir's ex-wife, requested that he settle his differences with Juhi.

"While we were working together, Maine did not speak to Juhi for seven years. Seven years. And I was angry at him for such a little thing. Juhi, usne bahut koshish ki thi. It was not merely the main tas. Reena used to say to me, 'Kaese karrahe ho tum? Milo use, khatam karo.' (I didn't speak to Juhi for seven years, even while we were collaborating.) Over a minor issue, I became enraged at her. Juhi put in a lot of effort. I refused to move. Reena said, "How are you acting? Meet her, end the fight." "Ziddi (Stubborn)," he continued, shaking his head.

What caused the conflict between Aamir and Juhi, and when did it occur?

In the documentary Rubaru Roshn, which was released a few years ago, Aamir discussed his dispute with Juhi that occurred while Ishq (1997) was being filmed. Aamir had stated that they patched up their differences following his divorce from Reena in 2002.

He had said, "When she learned about my divorce with Reena, she called me and asked to meet. Juhi had been close to both Reena and me, and she wanted to settle our differences." Even though Juhi had some sense that I may not answer her call, she still rang me. That made me feel touched, and I realized that our relationship was still intact. Although we may not have been on speaking terms, we had still looked out for one another.
