Despite swiping right on over two million profiles in the last five years, a 26-year-old guy is gaining online notice for sharing his incredible Tinder adventure, having only been on one date. Reddit users are both curious and perplexed by his dating figures.
After 2 million swipes, the man only had one date
"A man on Tinder swiped right over 2 million times in 5 years and only managed to get one date," the Reddit story read. His Tinder data screenshot revealed amazing figures: over the course of five years, he received 2,020,459 right swipes, 2,053 matches, 1,269 chats, and just one date.
His profile is displayed in a different linked picture. In his biography, the man, who goes by the name of Hayden, says, "If I'm not home, you can find me... at the lake." "I don't want it if you're not trying to go fishing," says another line. For me, a vacation is spending a week in the desert searching for snakes. I could or might not now have 33 snakes.
How the internet community responded
Redditors responded with a combination of humor, astonishment, and intrigue, with many asking the same question: "Who is the one who said yes?" "This guy must have the lowest Tinder ELO of all time, he probably swipes nothing but bots and troll accounts," one user quipped. "There's more to this story than just what that graph shows with those numbers lol," one commenter said. "I wonder if he took his only date to meet the snakes," a third person added, "My idea of a vacation is going to the desert and looking for snakes for a week." “Even bots said no to him,” added another.
