Two days ago in India, Tata Motors unveiled its most anticipated electric SUV, the Harrier EV, with an introductory ex-showroom price of ₹21.49 lakh. The Tata Harrier EV is packed with features that are driven by cutting-edge technology. Reservations for the flagship electric SUV are expected to begin on July 2. The indigenous car behemoth has only released the entry-level version of the Harrier EV thus far, but it has hinted that the premium trims of the vehicle will have competitive prices.
The base model of Harrier EV is competitively priced at ₹21.49 lakh (ex-showroom), according to a statement by Vivek Srivatsa, Chief Commercial Officer of Tata Passenger Electric Mobility (TPEM), which ANI has quoted. He also said that the pricing of the SUV's top trim level will be revealed by the end of June, and it will be just as competitive. Srivatsa is said to have stated, "I won't be able to give the price right now, but you'll know it before the end of the month, but I can tell you that for the quad wheel drive Harrier EV price, even there will be equally aggressive and exciting."

Tata Harrier EV: Introduces All-wheel Drive (AWD) back to the OEM's product line
The Tata Harrier EV has been introduced, with a stated range of 627 kilometers on a single charge. With a few EV-specific modifications, the Harrier EV is modeled after its internal combustion engine-powered sibling and includes a 75 kWh battery pack, dual electric motors that each drive one axle, and the ability to transfer electricity to all four wheels. The company's product range now includes the All-Wheel Drive (AWD) configuration, which it refers to as Quad Wheel Drive (AWD) on the Harrier EV.
According to Srivatsa, the car's key selling points are the QWD and ride quality. "The first USP is the quad wheel drive, all four wheels get power. Additionally, I believe that customers will find driving to be extremely pleasurable. Therefore, the power of all four wheels means that the car may be driven off-road, but also that its power and stability will feel very different when driving on regular roads. Therefore, despite its SUV appearance, the driving is simple and secure, and it can handle like a supercar, as you are aware. Therefore, that's a significant unique selling point," he said.
The electric SUV's new features include a 14.5-inch QLED touchscreen infotainment system that enables in-car EV charging payments, which is also available in the Hyundai Creta Electric. The Harrier EV also includes a digital key and a unique auto-park assist feature. Additionally, it features a 10.25-inch digital driver's screen with built-in maps. Other features include a panoramic sunroof, multi-colored ambient lighting, a wireless phone charger, wireless Apple and Android Auto CarPlay, dual-zone auto AC with rear vents, and EV-specific technologies like vehicle-to-load (V2L) and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) capability.
The electric SUV includes amenities to improve off-road performance, such as off-road assist, six terrain modes, and more.
The Harrier EV includes a tire pressure monitoring system, electronic stability control, a blind spot monitor, a 360-degree camera, seven airbags, and rear parking sensors with an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) suite for safety.
