To mark its sixth anniversary in India, JSW MG Motor has declared a reduction in the price of all versions of the ZS EV electric SUV. The 2025 MG ZS EV has undergone a significant price reduction of up to ₹4.44 lakh. The current ex-showroom pricing for the ZS EV ranges from ₹16.75 lakh to ₹20.50 lakh. The ZS EV is now considerably more inexpensive thanks to the price reduction, which undercuts the Tata Curvv EV, Hyundai Creta Electric, Mahindra BE 6, and even the MG Windsor Pro (fixed battery).

The price drop should boost the sales of the MG ZS EV

The MG ZS EV's sales should increase as a result of the price reduction.

Rakesh Sen, Head of Sales at JSW MG Motor India, remarked on the price decrease, saying, "I would like to thank all our customers and other related stakeholders who have helped us chart a growth story in the dynamic Indian automobile market for the last six years." The company's foundation is built on innovation, and the ZS EV is a genuine reflection of the MG brand's real potential in 2020. With its tech-driven innovations, it was a vehicle that redefined conventional transportation. In celebration of our sixth year in India, we have taken additional steps to make the MG ZS EV available to clients wishing to upgrade to a fashionable electric SUV. With this special pricing, the ZS EV will also appeal to buyers looking for a high-end ride, while our other two electric vehicles are already at an affordable price point. "We are still convinced that the MG ZS EV will undoubtedly charm Indian car purchasers with an appealing overall packaging and pricing."

The MG ZS EV, which has been averaging around 600 units over the past six months, was the brand's second product in India. The Windsor EV, MG's other electric vehicle, has particularly succeeded in cutting into the sales of both the ZS EV and other electric vehicles on the market. In the previous six months, MG has sold an average of roughly 3,450 Windsor EVs, and since its debut in September of last year, it has sold over 27,000 units. The reduced pricing should make the ZS EV more appealing to electric vehicle purchasers, increasing its sales in the coming days.
