Atul Sood Named Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Kia India

Atul Sood will take over as Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Kia India on June 11, 2025, the company has announced. His responsibilities will include directing the company's national sales plan and marketing operations, and he will answer to Kia India's Chief Sales Officer, Joonsu Cho.
Sood has over 30 years of experience in the automobile industry. Prior to joining Kia, he held the position of president and director at Toyota Mobility Solutions and Services India (TMSS). He has also served in important leadership roles at Toyota Motor Asia Pacific and Toyota Kirloskar Motor, where his primary responsibilities were to grow the dealer network, expand across India, and implement customer-focused programs. He earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology and a post-graduate diploma in marketing from SCMHRD, Pune.

Kia India has introduced eight models to the Indian market and is now operating with an annual production capacity of 300,000 units at its Anantapur facility. The business is still growing its footprint in India, with a network of 744 touchpoints and more than 1.2 million units sold domestically.
