With a renewed emphasis on safety and additional features, Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has released changes to its high-end hatchback, the Glanza. In a crucial advancement, all models of the Glanza will now come standard with six airbags. In line with rising customer expectations and evolving safety regulations in the Indian automobile industry, this represents a significant step towards better occupant protection.
The choice to make six airbags standard is intended to improve the safety of both drivers and passengers. This move brings the Glanza into line with several models in higher categories that have previously implemented full airbag protection. With this update, Toyota strengthens its position on giving safety top priority throughout its lineup.
Package of Prestige for the Toyota Glanza
The "Prestige Package" is a new, limited-time accessory package that Toyota has launched in addition to the safety improvements. Until July 31, the package includes a number of cosmetic enhancements aimed at improving the car's appearance and interior. The package contains a rear skid plate, illuminated door sills, premium door visors, rear lamp and lower grille garnishes, and chrome-trimmed body side mouldings. The dealer fits these attachments, which are available as an additional improvement.

The Maruti Suzuki Baleno platform serves as the foundation for the Glanza, which has gained steady popularity in the Indian market, with sales of more than two lakh units since it was first introduced. Its fuel efficiency, small size, and well-equipped interior continue to attract a broad range of people, particularly first-time automobile purchasers and city commuters.
The Glanza's mechanical components are still the same; it's driven by a 1.2-liter K-Series petrol engine that may be coupled to either a manual or an automatic transmission. Additionally, it has a CNG version. The CNG model has a mileage of 30.61 km/kg, while the AMT version has a mileage of 22.94 km/l.
Toyota continues to provide a long list of features, such as a 9-inch touchscreen, Head-Up Display, 360-degree camera, connected car capabilities through Toyota i-Connect, and other comfort-oriented touches including rear AC vents and automatic climate control.
The Glanza is now a more complete option in the premium hatchback market with the inclusion of six standard airbags and the optional Prestige Package. The revised Glanza has an ex-showroom price of Rs 6.90 lakh and is still covered by Toyota's standard 3-year/100,000 km warranty, which may be extended to 5 years/220,000 km.
