Following Sudhanshu Pandey's departure from Anupamaa, there have been rumors that Ronit Roy will play the part of Vanraj Shah. The performer has now stepped up to clarify the situation.

Ronit sets things straight

The series starring Rupali Ganguly, which was a ratings winner, is currently going through a rut. In an effort to increase viewership and restore the show's appeal, the producers are reportedly thinking about adding new characters and story lines.

It was argued in this context that Ronit is assuming the responsibilities of Vanraj. After four years of playing the role, Sudhanshu departed the program in the middle of 2024. In response to the rumors, Ronit informed TellyChakkar, "I'm not doing Anupamaa - the news is completely false, and I won't be playing Vanraj."

The rumors were also disproved by a source familiar with the program. "Nothing has changed in relation to Vanraj on the program." This is all conjecture and there is no truth to any of it. The insider informed Midday that Ronit Roy has also told several media outlets that he is not appearing on the program and that all the rumors about his involvement in Anupamaa are untrue.
