When a female follower was able to get into his house by pretending to be a close friend, TV star Kushal Tandon had a very disturbing experience. He is now worried about the security of his family and taken aback by the unpredicted break.
This one really surprised me
Reflecting on the incident, Kushal told The Times of India, "We're used to strange fan encounters as actors, but this one really blew my mind. I entered my home and discovered a woman I had never met in my life having a pleasant conversation with my parents.
According to sources, the fan persuaded the building's security officer that she was a pal of the actor. Regrettably, she was able to circumvent the regular security procedure due to a malfunctioning intercom system. She informed the home crew that she was there to see Kushal's mother after arriving at his front door. Believing the woman was a close buddy of her son, his mother invited her in.
Sensing something was wrong, Kushal hurried home after receiving a disturbing phone call from his mother. "I politely requested the lady to go. However, she strangely asked for a glass of water and wondered why I hadn't answered to her texts.
The fan had been sending direct messages for three years
The events that transpired after that were even more unsettling. Kushal found that the woman had been trying to reach him via Instagram direct messages for more than three years and had kept the conversation going on one side. She had even sent him a photo of his structure along with a terrifying message that said, "I'll be meeting you today, and nothing in the world can stop it," on the day of the intrusion.
A declaration was made by Kushal
Kushal was really disturbed by the incident and used social media on July 12 to discuss it and promote understanding of personal boundaries. "Hi everyone, I need to talk about something that happened today. Someone trespassed into my house while I was out. I want to be crystal clear: this is unacceptable. More than anything else, the safety and tranquility of my parents, who are now residing with me, are paramount. "I appreciate the love and support, but it's really disturbing when people cross personal boundaries like this," Kushal said in his statement.
