As he continues his skin cancer treatment, WWE Hall of Famer and wrestling legend Ric Flair will not be present at a planned meet and greet at a wellness clinic in Mississippi on Tuesday. This is the second occasion that Flair has delayed the gathering.

Flair posted on X, using capital letters for every word, "To All My Dear Friends And Fans- I Am So Sorry, That I Will Not Be Able To See You Tuesday." "I have health problems that I need to attend to because I have been putting my health last in the past. I've learned that melanoma is serious. I promise to see you as soon as possible." "Please Continue To Love Ric Flair Drip, As @_RicFlairDrip Loves You."

The 76-year-old, who had earlier refused to be suffering from a health problem, lately acknowledged his skin cancer diagnosis in an interview with People magazine.

Flair informed People, "I've been dealing with skin cancer for the second time in three years." He added, "I will be undergoing treatment next week."

Flair, popularly known as "The Nature Boy," is regarded as one of the greatest professional wrestlers ever. Charlotte Flair, his daughter, has followed in his footsteps and become one of the leading performers in WWE. In 2023, Flair was spotted at a gaming conference in Florida held at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel.

Flair has made a comeback to WWE for sporadic appearances throughout the years, despite initially declaring his retirement following his bout with Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 24 in 2008.

Flair has battled a number of重大health problems throughout his life, in addition to his wrestling legacy. After his intestine burst in 2017, he was put into a medically induced coma, where he stayed for 11 days. He went to the hospital with stomach aches, but because to years of heavy drinking, he soon got kidney issues and was on the verge of congestive heart failure. He had just a 20% chance of surviving, according to the doctors. Later, he had surgery to excise an obstructed section of his intestine.

Flair experienced another major health crisis in 2019 and was quickly admitted to the hospital. Later, he underwent successful heart surgery in Atlanta.

Flair disclosed in his autobiography Ric Flair: To Be the Man that he had been diagnosed with alcoholic cardiomyopathy, a heart disorder brought on by prolonged alcohol usage.

"I had one vice," Flair said in a 2017 Sports Illustrated interview. "I'm not going to blame anyone else." I used to drink. I didn't have any issues with pain, addiction, marijuana, cocaine, or anything of the sort. "I stayed up all night and always enjoyed myself," is a true statement.

In 2018, Flair wed Wendy Barlow. The pair split in September 2024, and Flair expressed gratitude to her for supporting him through his health issues.

Flair rose to prominence in the 1980s and 1990s through his work with the WWF (now WWE) and WCW. He has 16 official world championship titles and is the only WWE Superstar to have been inducted into the Hall of Fame twice.

Flair, who is originally from Wisconsin, participated in wrestling, football, and track and field during his high school years in the late 1960s. He started his wrestling career in 1972 and went on to headline WrestleMania VIII in 1992. Flair stayed involved in the wrestling business even into his 60s, making a memorable cameo at WrestleMania 35 in 2019.

He still shows up at a few wrestling shows, frequently joining Charlotte, his daughter, in the ring. Reid, his son, passed away in 2013 from a drug overdose.
