The WWE Money in the Bank (MITB) event has returned. Apart from the usual ladder contests, a Women's Intercontinental Championship match between Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria has also been announced as part of the program, which will include a huge tag team featuring Cody Rhodes and John Cena. Even with these advancements, it seems that a few important individuals are absent from the list of people who might be able to seize the case that is located atop the ring.

Punk, CM

The absence of WWE superstar CM Punk from the list of competitors was maybe the most surprising thing for MITB enthusiasts. This may be partially attributed to Punk's decades-long rivalry with Seth Rollins, but there is no proof of it.

Sami Zayn

As a result of Sami Zayn's loss in Saturday Night's Main Event, he has been ousted from this year's MITB tournament. Nonetheless, the statements made by his creative team that they are getting him ready for something far larger allow for the possibility of Zayn joining a tag team against Seth Rollins' group at SummerSlam.

Flair, Charlotte

Charlotte Flair's lack of matches in the ring and defeat in the qualifying match on the blue brand have kept MITB out of her plans this year, despite the absence of any outstanding personal feuds in her name.

Jacob Fatu

Jacob Fatu, the breakout star from the United States, is having as much success as anyone might expect. Many were baffled by his work on the blue brand and his recent performance, which left Fatu off the roster for no apparent reason, but he doesn't seem to be in dire need of MITB fame either.

Finn Balor

Seth Rollins defeated Finn Balor in the qualifying bout. Despite his frequent television appearances, the sector has not yet given him enough opportunities for premium live events. The prospect that Balor may be included in the SummerSlam by WWE is still supported by supporters.

Liv Morgan

Since Liv Morgan is one half of the current Women's Tag Team Champions, her absence from MITB may be attributed to her Judgment Day drama. Reports indicate that Dominik Mysterio may still betray her by joining forces with Roxanne Perez. Iyo Sky and Morgan are about to have a fight soon.

Jade Cargill

It appears that Jade Cargill's prospects of participating in MITB were dashed by a dispute with Naomi and Tiffany Stratton, as well as by a defeat in the qualifying match against the former. In Cargill's career, recent highlights include her comeback at Elimination Chamber 2025 and a blue brand moment at WrestleMania. It's widely believed that she might still be at the MITB game in order to reduce Naomi's chances of winning.

At 7:00 PM ET (4:00 PM PT), the championship game will be held on Saturday, June 7, at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.
