Umpire Intervenes After Siraj Rams Duckett

As Mohammed Siraj bowled Ben Duckett for 12, India struck early on Day 4 of the third Test at Lord's, igniting the tensions from the prior night with a furious send-off. The on-field umpire, who had walked in from square leg, interrupted Siraj's energetic celebration to warn the pacer for his aggressive behavior.
Siraj delivered a 140kph back-of-a-length delivery just outside off during England's second innings' sixth over, resulting in the wicket. In an attempt to drag it down, Duckett only managed to pull it off the inside half of the bat and straight to Jasprit Bumrah at mid-on because he lacked the necessary force or guidance. Siraj yelled in joy just inches away from the departing batter as Bumrah finished the grab. The umpire intervened after seeing a clear shoulder motion.
The party maintained the unpleasant mood that had prevailed since the conclusion of Day 3, when Shubman Gill and Zak Crawley engaged in a verbal dispute following India's sarcastic applause for Crawley's request for the physiotherapist. That incident ended with an exchange of words between the players, and Siraj's response on Saturday morning just made the conflict between the two sides worse.
With a daring lap shot early in the same over, Duckett had demonstrated his intention, but his choice to face Siraj again with a dangerous pull cost him dearly. After India equalized the first innings score at 387, England left the wicket at 22/1, and India was eager to make the most of it. India gained momentum from the early breakthrough in what is now essentially a second-innings shootout.
Day 3 concluded with a bang.
With Crawley's persistent delays in Bumrah's opening over with the new ball causing obvious annoyance in the Indian camp, the rivalry between the two teams had already started to escalate during the last over of Day 3.
Indian fielders sarcastically cheered when Crawley asked for the physio after being hit on the glove. After Crawley had already pulled the over after stopping Bumrah twice in his approach, citing sight-screen difficulties, this occurred.
In addition to shouting obscenities at the batter from the slips, Gill was particularly upbeat. Gill also gestured toward the English changing room after Crawley asked for a physiotherapist. As players from both sides engaged in a tense verbal argument, Duckett stepped in to make the situation worse.
