Small Errors, Big Loss for India at Lord’s

What a Test match! What a show! But I'm guessing it's a result that would still make Indian supporters unhappy.
I've approached this trip of India to England holistically. I made a deliberate choice when the squad was chosen, and Rohit, Virat, and Shami were not included.
This was a novel Indian side about to face a severe test. Happily, England's environment has been more like India's, and the pitches have been flatter than ever. Not to mention the worst assault England has ever mounted.
However, under the leadership of Shubman Gill, this Indian team has accomplished something amazing thus far. In their own backyard, no other nation's next generation team would be able to contend with a major cricketing nation.
The icing on the cake was that India was 22 runs away from securing a 2-1 lead at Lord's. However, as I mentioned earlier, this club has already won me over.
India lost at Lord's due to a few errors, none of them significant, but sufficient to give England a commanding lead after three Tests, beginning with a propensity to introduce spin late in the game. Gill seems to be a captain who prefers seam to spin, similar to Virat. However, each captain has their own unique approach and philosophy.
Like he believes that my pacers will get the task done if it has to be done. Dhoni was the complete opposite.

When Gill appeared to be at a loss with his pacers, he turned to Washington Sundar. He doesn't give a damn about spin. Washy ultimately cast a dream spell and brought India back on track, but it cost India between 30 and 40 runs.
India needed an England collapse on the pitch; 190 wasn't awful, but 150 would have been preferable.
Later, Gill committed another error when he lost his composure at the conclusion of Day 3. I saw a side of Gill that I had never seen before when English hitters raised the bar for wasting time. Like Virat Kohli, he is angry and argumentative.
Virat enjoyed these kinds of conflicts so much that it seemed he was seeking them out, even when he was just a player and not the captain. Additionally, Virat's batting quality improved as his rage increased.
As a result, I was really curious to see how Shubman would deal with the anticipated antagonism he would face when he came out to bat. He seemed to be impacted by the rumor surrounding him and the personal attack on him as a batter, so he handled it poorly.
Out of the nine simple deliveries he received, how else would you account for the four that he missed? It was surprising to say the least that a man who would not have missed four balls throughout the whole series, and I will attribute that to the environment that England created around him for the time being.
On a side note, I see a lot of camaraderie in modern cricket, which reminded me of old Test cricket, where the opposition made you feel like you were in enemy territory and there was no one on the field who would talk to you or smile at you.
The same impression that Gill would have had. I'm not sure if too many contemporary hitters experience this kind of sensation in today's cricket.
In the upcoming Test, I expect England to employ this as a strategy against Gill. At Lord's, it performed flawlessly.
Lastly, the run chase: Once more, India's hopes of winning had been wiped out after losing KL Rahul and Pant at the start of Day 5. Once again, this team's incredible tenacity throughout the trip is to blame for the unavoidable occurring so late on Day 5.
Although the margin of loss may appear little, the circumstances at Lord's were so strange that you needed to live 10 overs in order to score 20 runs. For this reason, 193 was a significant target since it required you to bat for about 80 overs in order to reach it.
During the extended 72-minute partnership between Reddy and Jadeja, they scored only 30 runs. During that run chase, it was as if India were playing for a tie, and England weren't under any real pressure, so they weren't likely to make many errors. However, as I stated before, India lost the game due to little errors rather than large ones.
