WrestleMania 42 will be held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on April 18–19, 2026, for the second consecutive year, according to the official WWE announcement. The announcement, made during the 2025 Money in the Bank event, promises yet another thrilling WrestleMania weekend, with popular events like SmackDown, the Hall of Fame Ceremony, NXT Stand and Deliver, and Raw After WrestleMania all poised to once again enthrall the entertainment hub.

Las Vegas will host the return of WWE WrestleMania 42.

Following WrestleMania 41's electrifying performance at Allegiant Stadium earlier this year, WrestleMania is back in Las Vegas in 2026. The event will be held in the same place for two years in a row for just the second time in WWE history; the first time was at the Atlantic City Convention Hall in New Jersey for WrestleMania IV and V in 1988 and 1989.

The news comes after the WWE recently chose to move WrestleMania 42 from New Orleans to Las Vegas. The Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation announced the move in a joint statement with TKO Group Holdings, stating that Louisiana would now host Money in the Bank 2026 and has been guaranteed a future WrestleMania, even though it would no longer host WrestleMania 42. The shift in venue was not explained by WWE.

Triple H explains why Las Vegas once more?

With more than 124,000 spectators attending over two nights and breaking records for gate revenue, merchandise sales, sponsorships, and hospitality experiences, WrestleMania 41 was a huge hit for WWE. The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that WWE also got tax credits worth up to $4.24 million for holding the event in the city. With its ownership of both WWE and the Las Vegas-based UFC, TKO Group Holdings is a strategic fit for the shift.

Paul "Triple H" Levesque, WWE's Chief Content Producer, stated that the choice to return to Sin City was influenced by a number of factors, but the popularity of WrestleMania certainly played a role. As reported by USA Today following Money in the Bank, he said, "This one will be even better," referring to the things we learned this time and how we handled the week there, and everything else, because "to be able to go back in (to Las Vegas), it's built for stuff like what we do, and to be able to go there a second time."

"It's built for stuff like what we do, to be able to go back in (to Las Vegas), and to be able to go there a second time, the things that we learned this time and how we handled the week there, and everything else ... this one will be even better," he continued.
