The Indian cricketers' stump mic conversation is seldom disappointing. Rishabh Pant is now the primary force, with captain Shubman Gill not far behind; previously, it was Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. In a divine allusion on Day 5 of the first test between India and England, Shubman Gill merely mentioned the names of his pace bowlers, Prasidh Krishna and Mohammed Siraj, which caused a stir online.

Prasidh Krishna beat Ben Duckett outside the off stump in the 17th over of England's second innings, and Gill exclaimed, "Ek taraf Mohammed hai, ek taraf Krishna, dono bhagwan..." (At one side there is Mohammed, on the other, there is Krishna, both are gods).

As England's innings went on, the video became popular. When Prasidh Krishna took Jasprit Bumrah's place to share the bowling load with Mohammed Siraj, they were 52 for no loss.

The fifth and last day saw a commanding partnership between Ben Duckett and Zak Crawley, which upset the Indian bowlers and brought back the possibility of an improbable victory for England. The openers combined for an unbroken 181-run partnership as they chased a formidable score of 371, but rain brought the second session to an early conclusion.

With a strong, counter-attacking century, Duckett spearheaded the assault. He hit 13 precise boundaries as he punished the Indian bowlers, finishing undefeated at 105. The left-handed batsman capitalized on his fortune by surviving a crucial drop at 98, when Yashasvi Jaiswal was unable to hold onto a diving catch off Mohammed Siraj's delivery.

At the other end, Crawley offered unwavering support with a steady 59* off 119 deliveries, which included six boundaries. When Jasprit Bumrah was unable to hold onto a difficult return catch earlier in the morning, he too experienced a moment of luck.

With England needing 190 more runs and having all 10 wickets in hand, the pair's confident hitting has created an exciting conclusion. India will be hoping for some early breakthroughs when play resumes after the rain break, while England will be hoping to capitalize on the momentum of this outstanding opening stand.
