On June 20, when it starts its World Test Championship cycle against England, Team India will return to Test action. Former India head coach Ravi Shastri has named his XI for the match, and a revamped Indian side, captained by young Shubman Gill, will try to make an impression from the start in the first Test at Headingley.

"He scored a century and had a great tour when he opened last time India visited England. Therefore, I would anticipate him to begin the innings.

"He's really impressive from what I've seen of him. "This tour will provide him with good exposure."

Nair's comeback
