The Phoenix Suns are said to be willing to trade the power forward, but two questions remain: where he wants to go and what the team will receive in return.

Durant's favored locations are the Miami Heat, San Antonio Spurs, and Houston Rockets, according to ESPN's Shams Charania, as all three are dedicated to signing him to a two-year extension.

The Phoenix Suns are seeking the greatest potential return as a deal involving Kevin Durant appears imminent. The Suns are attempting to find an authorized landing place for Durant while also securing the greatest deal possible, according to the Arizona Republic.

The Rockets, Spurs, and Heat all have valuable assets—players, draft picks, or both—but are unwilling to trade them in a deal for Durant.

Miami Heat: If the Suns trade Kevin Durant to Miami, they will gain something that the Heat would love to have. The Suns might have an eye on rookie big man Kel'el Ware in exchange for the power forward, who would undoubtedly put the Heat back in contention.

San Antonio Spurs: The Spurs might include Harrison Barnes, Devin Vassell, Jeremy Sochan, and the No. 14 selection in addition to other draft incentives. However, it's an unlikely deal because they would likely opt for a more long-term lineup centered on Victor Wembanyama.

Houston Rockets: In this NBA trade season, Kevin Durant is most likely to land in Houston. They may be the perfect trade partner for the Suns because they have young talent and draft capital. The Rockets getting Durant for Jalen Green, Jabari Smith Jr., and Jock Landale is a hypothetical transaction that Spotrac claims works financially.
