At the FIFA Club World Cup final on Sunday, Chelsea stunned PSG by winning 3-0 at MetLife Stadium. With a strong Joao Pedro up front before the break and a double from Cole Palmer in the first half, Enzo Maresca's team secured a significant victory in advance of the next Premier League campaign.

However, after full-time, the animosity between both teams increased. The focus was on the PSG combination of Gianluigi Donnarumma and Achraf Hakimi, who faced Chelsea's Andrey Santos, as the two sides engaged in a huge fight.

Although Pedro stepped in front of the PSG couple, Luis Enrique, the manager, intervened and shoved the former Brighton player in the face, causing him to fall.

When asked about the conflict, Pedro told Sportv, "I saw their players were crowding Andrey, so I went to defend him. Like any good Brazilian, I went to defend my buddy." I was pushed about in the chaos as a large number of people arrived. It's a component of it.

In the meanwhile, during his post-game press conference, Enrique stated, "At the end of the match there was a situation that I believe was completely avoidable, for everyone involved. As always, my goal and intention was to separate the players to prevent more issues. There was a lot of fervor and tension. "There was pushing happening and I believe we should avoid that and it should never happen again."

"But once again, my aim was to prevent things from getting any worse," he said.

In addition to winning the Golden Ball as the tournament's best player, Palmer also won the match. In the first half, he took advantage of openings along the right channel to break through the PSG defense. He then scored a stunning left-footed goal in the 22nd minute, followed by another in a similar vein. He once more demonstrated his importance as Pedro scored to make it 3-0, this time with an assist, two minutes before the conclusion of the first half.
