Jitesh Sharma's Folded Hands Can't Stop Cake Chaos with Virat Kohli

The players of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru are elated after securing a spot in the IPL final for the first time in nine years, where they will face the Punjab Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad tomorrow. The team and support staff are determined to secure their inaugural IPL trophy, while simultaneously maintaining a positive atmosphere off the field. Although the true celebrations may commence upon winning the title, a modest birthday celebration took place at RCB's team hotel on Sunday to honor the birthdays of Rajat Patidar and Dinesh Karthik.
RCB released a video capturing the birthday festivities, which started on a delightful note with Patidar and Karthik cutting their cakes—until Jitesh Sharma unexpectedly joined in, enthusiastically smashing cake and transforming the occasion into a lively, messy celebration.
Patidar was the initial target of the attack, followed by RCB's batting coach and mentor, Dinesh Karthik. However, Jitesh did not stop there and identified additional victims as well. Senior batter Virat Kohli also contributed to the fun by helping his teammates smash cake onto analyst Freddie Wilde's face. By the conclusion of the video, Jitesh himself had been attacked, resulting in his face being covered in cake. Nevertheless, when Liam Livingstone playfully encouraged Jitesh to smear cake on Kohli's face, the wicketkeeper responded with a gesture of folded hands, glanced at Kohli, then looked upwards, and politely declined.

The jovial celebration provided an ideal respite just days prior to the significant final, allowing the players an opportunity to relax, strengthen their team bonds, and temporarily divert their attention from the intense match that lies ahead.
The last occasion RCB made it to the final was in 2016. Virat Kohli had an outstanding season, amassing 973 runs, yet he was unable to guide his team to the IPL championship after succumbing to SRH in the final. The former captain is once again dedicated to breaking their title drought, as he has been in exceptional form, having scored 614 runs thus far.
Virat Kohli and Josh Hazlewood are crucial for RCB in the significant finale.
RCB has already competed against Punjab Kings three times this season, securing victory in two of those encounters, including the most recent one in Qualifier 1. They benefited from Josh Hazlewood's return from a shoulder injury before the playoffs, and he made an immediate impact by helping to dismantle Punjab for just 101 runs on Thursday.
Similar to Kohli's reliable performance with the bat, Hazlewood has provided stability to RCB’s bowling lineup with his calmness and accuracy. With 21 wickets to his credit, the Australian currently ranks as the fourth-highest wicket-taker and will be keen to ascend further in the standings in what may be his final appearance this season.
